To review an application and fund a loan, we collect information you give us directly and information generated automatically when you use our services:
Information you provide
- Identity details — your name, date of birth, home address, phone number, and email.
- Employment and income details — your employer, pay frequency, and how your pay is deposited.
- Banking details — the account where you'd like funds sent and from which repayments are drawn.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working and to measure performance (see “Cookies & tracking” below).
02How bank verification works
Rather than asking you to upload statements, we verify your banking and income through a secure, read-only connection provided by a regulated third-party service.
- The connection is read-only — we can confirm your account and recent deposits but cannot move money out of your account through it.
- We never see or store your online banking password; it is entered directly with our verification partner.
03How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Verify your identity and assess whether you're eligible for a loan.
- Process, fund, and service your loan, including arranging repayment.
- Communicate with you about your account, application status, and important notices.
- Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud and other prohibited activity.
- Improve our website and services and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Send you product news and offers — only where permitted, and you can opt out at any time.
05How we protect your information
We use technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage — designed to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.
06How long we keep it
We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us and afterward for the period required to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

- Withdraw consent or ask us to delete information, where we are not required to keep it.

09Eligibility & age
Our services are intended for Canadian residents 18 years of age or older in the provinces we serve. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Quebec residents are not currently eligible.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our services means you accept the updated policy.
