To review an application and fund a loan, we collect information you give us directly and information generated automatically when you use our services:

Information you provide

• Identity details — your name, date of birth, home address, phone number, and email.
• Employment and income details — your employer, pay frequency, and how your pay is deposited.
• Banking details — the account where you'd like funds sent and from which repayments are drawn.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working and to measure performance (see “Cookies & tracking” below).

02How bank verification works

Rather than asking you to upload statements, we verify your banking and income through a secure, read-only connection provided by a regulated third-party service.

• The connection is read-only — we can confirm your account and recent deposits but cannot move money out of your account through it.
• We never see or store your online banking password; it is entered directly with our verification partner.

03How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify your identity and assess whether you're eligible for a loan.
• Process, fund, and service your loan, including arranging repayment.
• Communicate with you about your account, application status, and important notices.
• Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud and other prohibited activity.
• Improve our website and services and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
• Send you product news and offers — only where permitted, and you can opt out at any time.

04When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business, and only with parties bound to protect it:

• Service providers who help us verify identity and banking, process payments, host data, and provide customer support.
• Credit reporting agencies, where applicable, to report your account or confirm information.
• Government, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect our legal rights.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

05How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage — designed to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.

06How long we keep it

We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us and afterward for the period required to meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the site function and let us understand how it's used. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended without them.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Withdraw consent or ask us to delete information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in any email.

09Eligibility & age

Our services are intended for Canadian residents 18 years of age or older in the provinces we serve. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Quebec residents are not currently eligible.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our services means you accept the updated policy.

01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the FundBoost website and online lending services (the “Services”). By using the Services or submitting an application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Services means you accept them.

02Eligibility

To apply, you must:

• Be a Canadian resident and at least 18 years of age.
• Reside in a province we serve. Quebec residents are not currently eligible.
• Have steady employment income paid by direct deposit into a Canadian bank account active for at least three months.

Loans are not available where the primary source of income is government assistance. All applications are subject to approval and applicable provincial regulations.

03Applying for a loan

You apply online by providing accurate, complete information and connecting your bank account for verification. A member of our Canadian team reviews each application. Approval is not guaranteed, and we may request additional information or decline an application at our discretion.

If approved, you'll receive a loan agreement to review and sign electronically. Funds are sent by Interac e-Transfer to your verified account.

04Cost of borrowing

FundBoost operates as a direct lender under the Canadian Payday Loans Act, 2008. The maximum permissible cost of borrowing is $15.00 per $100.00 advanced. The annual percentage rate (APR) varies with the loan amount and repayment period.

The full cost of your loan, including all fees and the repayment schedule, is set out in your loan agreement before you sign. Please read it carefully.

05Repayment, late payments & NSF

You authorize us to withdraw repayment from your bank account on the dates set out in your loan agreement. If a payment is returned or declined, you may be charged NSF fees and additional amounts as outlined in your agreement and permitted by law. Persistent non-payment may be referred to a collection agency and reported to credit reporting agencies.

06Your responsibilities

You agree to provide true, current, and complete information, to keep your contact and banking details up to date, and to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

07Electronic communications & signatures

By using the Services, you consent to receive communications, disclosures, and your loan agreement electronically, and you agree that your electronic signature is legally binding. You may withdraw this consent, but doing so may prevent us from offering the Services.

08Intellectual property

The FundBoost name, logo, website, and all related content are owned by FundBoost or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print material for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without our prior written consent.

09Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundBoost and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11Links to other sites

The Services may contain links to third-party websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites, and linking to them does not imply our endorsement.

12Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Quebec, except where applicable consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in your home province.
